God Centered - flowing from the heart of God to the hurts of mankind. A compassion ministry.
Relational - the people are friends not objects of our pity nor our means of fulfilling our spiritual needs for service.
Accessibility - dwelling in the midst of the poor and hurting.
Consistency - a presence they can count on.
Gentle - treating them with dignity and respect. Giving them back what Satan has taken from them.
Sacrificial - giving of all our resource (blessings) time, energy, expertise, etc.
Holistic - treating the spiritual man as well as the physical man.
